I'm Clarence Wee, a who makes feel simple.
I work end to end, from research to the last detail of a single interaction. What I care about most is the join between what someone sees on screen and the teams and systems behind it, because that join is what decides whether help actually arrives. is part of how I work now.
I synthesise research with AI, design in Figma, and increasingly prototype in code, currently in Claude Code and Cursor.
The kind with a lot going on beneath the surface: public transport, enterprise platforms, support systems. The work is taking all of that and making it feel like one simple thing to the person in front of it.
I've spent my on the moments where something's gone wrong and someone just needs help, fast and without fuss.
Right now I design customer support experiences at Adelaide Metro, South Australia's public transport network. Before that, enterprise product design at EdSmart, multi-platform work at Apparel21, and freelance design before all of it.

Beyond the screen, I'm usually outdoors: hiking 🥾, on the bike 🚴, or out with a camera 📷. Closer to home, I tinker with my homelab 🖥️ and get a bit of gaming 🎮 in, and there's almost always music 🎵 somewhere in it.
